Introduction and Features of Wheat Starch Gluten Extraction Equipment

Gluten (also known as active gluten flour or wheat gluten) is a natural plant protein extracted from wheat or high-gluten flour. Produced through physical separation technology, it boasts a protein content of 75% to 85% and contains 15 essential amino acids (such as lysine and methionine). It is a high-protein, low-fat nutritional supplement widely used in the food industry and enjoys promising market prospects.

The process is described as follows:

1. Raw Material Preparation: Wheat flour is removed from the wheat flour warehouse and first subjected to magnetic inspection to remove magnetic impurities. It is then weighed and screened to ensure quality and accurate measurement.

2. Water-Flour Mixing: The screened wheat flour enters a dough mixer, where warm water (typically a 1:1 ratio of water to flour) is added. The temperature is controlled between 43.5-46°C and the pH is between 6.5-7.0. Mixing is then completed to form a batter.

3. Homogenization: The batter enters a homogenizer to fully separate and evenly distribute components such as protein and starch.

4. Three-Phase Separation: The homogenized batter enters a three-phase separator to separate wheat starch A, a secondary batter, and light phase substances such as pentosans.

5. Secondary Separation: The secondary batter enters a separator for further separation to produce a suspension of wheat starch B and gluten.

6. Gluten Processing: The gluten suspension is first cleaned in a washing machine and then dehydrated in a dehydrating machine. It is then dried in a dryer at a specific temperature. The dried gluten is then ground in a grading mill to the specified particle size. The semi-finished product is then packaged and blended as needed before the finished product is packaged.

Starch Processing: Wheat Starch A and Wheat Starch B are dried in separate drying machines. The dried starches are then packaged to produce the corresponding starch products.
