Starch factory waste residue treatment process:
Collection: In the corn starch production process, waste residue mainly comes from the cleaning, crushing, screening and other links of corn, as well as the sludge settled during the wastewater treatment process. These waste residues are concentrated into the waste residue storage area through conveying equipment or manual collection.
Dehydration: The waste residue contains a large amount of water. In order to facilitate subsequent processing and transportation, the waste residue needs to be dehydrated. Commonly used dehydration equipment includes centrifuges, filter presses, etc., which separate the moisture from the waste residue through mechanical extrusion and reduce the moisture content of the waste residue.
Drying: If the moisture content of the dehydrated waste residue needs to be further reduced, it can be dried. There are two drying methods: natural drying and mechanical drying. Natural drying is to place the waste residue in a well-ventilated area and use sunlight and natural wind for drying; mechanical drying is to use dryers and other equipment to remove the moisture in the waste residue by heating. evaporate.
