Huatai pea starch production line
Huatai Potato Industry’s pea starch production line adopts the wet processing technology of starch production without adding any additives. The entire process technology is mature, the equipment performance is superior, the configuration is scientific, and the technology is reasonable. The starch production process is designed according to six sections: soaking → crushing → screening → concentration and refining → dehydration → drying. In particular, the crushing and screening section uses a curved mesh extrusion mill. Through a unique process of multi-stage crushing, multi-stage filtration, and multi-stage extrusion, it has low crushing energy consumption, high starch extraction rate, and high starch quality. The advantages are that it improves the production efficiency of the production line and the starch extraction rate.
Applicable objects and characteristics:
It is suitable for medium- and above-sized starch processing manufacturers and customers using peas as raw materials. This process operates automatically from the soaking and crushing of raw materials, starch extraction, fine filtration, sand removal, concentration, refining, dehydration, and drying. The product processing volume is large and the production cycle is short. It only takes more than ten minutes from raw material cleaning to finished product, which greatly improves pea starch production efficiency and product quality.
Starch Process flow:
1. Sorting and stone removal: Sort the purchased dried peas to remove stones and other impurities.
2. Soaking: Soak the peas in clean water for at least 3 hours to facilitate the full extraction of starch in the later steps.
3. Crush and grind, and initially extract starch: Most of the market uses rasp mills and centrifugal sieves to complete the initial extraction and filtration of starch. If a special curved mesh extrusion mill is used, the peas can be squeezed, crushed, filtered, and extracted multiple times. High-concentration starch slurry with low moisture content facilitates subsequent processing.
4. Filtration and purification, sand and mud removal to ensure taste and quality: a variety of machines and equipment separate the fine fibers and starch in the starch slurry; used for starch purification to remove fine impurities and sediment in the starch.
5. Concentrate and refine to improve starch whiteness: Further separation of non-starch substances can independently complete the separation, washing, concentration and other operations of starch, modified starch, fermentation, chemical industry and other industries.
6. Dehydration and drying: The starch slurry has a high water content, and the dehydration treatment improves the starch purity; the starch drying step quickly removes the moisture in the wet material to achieve instant drying, and then the finished product is bagged.
